Penang War Museum is located on the top of the hill new Batu Maung, new Penang Second Bridge.
The war museum is a former British fortress designed to protect Penang from Japanese invasion during World War 2.
The fortress is fully armed to the teeth with anti aircraft gun, battery, underground bunker, watch tower and underground storage system for food, water and ammunition.
The museum artifact is well protected with adequate information board to tell history behind every item displayed in the museum.
